When you want to see what to work on in a class, open the class page. It shows your next task, the class content, any other tasks, and what you've learned.

Open a class

  1. In the left sidebar, click Classes.

  2. On the classes page, find your class in the list. If you're in more than one class, each has its own entry.

  3. Click the class you want to open. The classes page listing the student's classes

If the class doesn't open, you'll see a "failed to load" message with a button that takes you back to the classes page. Click it and try again.

Read the class page

The top of the page is a colored header, sometimes with a cover image behind it.

  • Subject: the large title is the class subject, for example English. For a homeroom class, the title is the class name and a homeroom tag appears next to it.
  • Educator: your educator's name appears under the title.

Below the header, the Next up card shows the one task to do next. It shows:

  • The type of task, such as lesson or activity.
  • Your progress, if you've already started (for example, 4 of 9 activities).
  • About how many minutes it takes.
  • The due date, or a note that there's no due date. If the task is overdue, the text says so.

Click the button on the card to open the task. It reads Start if you haven't begun and Continue if you have.

If you don't see a Next up card, you have no task waiting for you in that class.

Browse content and tasks

Under the Next up card, the Class content section lists everything your educator has shared with you in this class: courses, lessons, and activities.

  • Click a course to open it.
  • Click a lesson or activity to open it. When you leave, you can go back to the class page.
  • The item that matches your Next up task is highlighted in the list.
  • If you've finished everything that's open, a badge next to the section title says nothing is open.
  • If your educator hasn't added anything yet, the section tells you it's empty.

If you have other tasks in this class, they appear in a separate Other tasks card below the class content. Each task shows as a row in that card.

See what you've learned

The What I learned section appears on the side of the page, or below the content on a narrow screen. It shows your progress as percentages, one entry per skill or topic.

By default only the first few entries are shown. To see the rest, click the button at the bottom of the list (it shows how many more there are, for example "1 more"). Click the Less button to collapse the list again.

If you've just joined the class and haven't learned anything yet, the section doesn't appear.
