Check today's tasks and weekly progress on Home
The Home screen shows what you planned for today and how your week is going. You don't need to open the full planner to check.
Before you start: you need to be enrolled in at least one class. If you aren't, Home shows a prompt to join a class instead of your tasks.
Find today's tasks
-
Open Home from the side menu.
-
Find the Today's tasks card. It shows today's date under the title.
-
Read the list of tasks planned for today. Each task is a row.
-
To start working, use the button on the first task you can start. It appears on one task at a time, the next one in line.

Next to the date, a small ring shows how many of today's tasks you've finished, for example 0/1. It fills as you complete tasks.
What does "0 of 1 completed" mean? You have 1 task planned today and you haven't finished it yet. When you finish it, the count changes to 1 of 1. The ring only appears when at least one task is planned for the day.
Two other things you might see on the card:
- If nothing is planned for today, the card says so instead of listing tasks.
- If you finish everything, the card tells you how many tasks are still open tomorrow.
Read weekly progress
The My Week card sits next to the Today card, or below it on a narrow screen.
- At the top, read the big number and the total beside it. This is how many tasks you've completed out of all tasks planned this week.
- Look at the seven day cells underneath. Each cell shows the day's letter and a row of dots:
- A green dot is a completed task.
- A grey dot is a task that isn't done yet.
- A "+" number means there are more tasks than the cell can show as dots.
- Spot days with no tasks:
- A short grey dash means no tasks are planned that day.
- A cell marked Rest is a day off.
- Today's cell has a highlighted outline.
- For exact counts, select a day's cell. Screen readers announce each day as, for example, "0 of 1 completed" or "no tasks".
- Scroll down to Due this week to see tasks that are due in the coming days. If nothing is due, the card says so.
Selecting any day cell opens that day in the planning page, so you can see its tasks in detail.
Go to full planning
Use the links on the Home cards to open the planner.
- On the Today's tasks card: select the plan link at the top right. It opens the planning page on the day view for today.
- On the My Week card: select the plan link at the top right. It opens the planning page for the current week.
- From a day cell: select the day you want to open its day view.
You can also open My Planning from the side menu at any time.
To adjust your week, make the changes on the planning page. Tasks appear on a calendar, and you can drag a task to move it to another time or day. Tasks that haven't been placed on the calendar yet are collected under Not planned, which shows a count of how many there are. Open it to see them and schedule them.
When you return to Home, the Today and My Week cards reflect your changes.
If something looks wrong
- If the cards don't load, select the retry link shown in their place.
- If the whole Home screen shows an error, select the retry button on the error message.
